| At least 5 different
cameras are taken to each wedding for speed and back up. For
photojournalistic fast moving photography Nikon cameras and
the best fast lenses are used. For the ultimate in quality
where time allows such as the formal shots then Hasselblad
medium format equipment is used. Both these systems represent
the finest camera equipment in optical clarity, versatility
and reliability.
In addition to normal color and black and white film several
other different types are incorporated into each wedding to
add variety for the final album. Specialist film photographed
at weddings include Infrared, High Speed Black and White and
Cross processed film, examples of these can be seen in Nick's
studio.
Where possible natural light is used as the main light source
for a more dimensional photograph. In those instances where
there is not enough light then high quality flash equipment
is used to enhance the situation. High speed battery packs
are relied upon where a very fast flash recycle time is required
for instances such as walking down the isle and action dance
sequences.
